Invisibles 329

Filmwise has Invisibles #329 up. Strangely, I feel pretty satisfied when I get 6 out of 8 (which I have this week), but if I get 7, I just get frustrated at the one keeping me from perfection. I'm missing #1 and #4 this time.

Last week I missed Night at the Museum, The Haunting, and Lost in Translation. The first two I don't mind, but the third I missed because I'm apparently an idiot.

Invisibles 328

Filmwise has Invisibles #328 up. Trickier than last week, I think. I managed 5 without any trouble, but the other three I couldn't be any more clueless on.

Last week's answers: With the help of a commenter, I had them all. I'd talk trash and ask the filmwise editors for a real challenge, but obviously they've already given me one. No time at all to bask in the glory of my victory.

Invisibles 327

Filmwise has Invisibles #327 up. For the second straight week, I got seven of eight, but again, I'm left frustrated by that last one. In this case, #1, which I'm 90% sure I've seen. The other seven seemed uncharacteristically easy.

Last week's miss: Rumble Fish, which I have not seen, so I don't feel too bad about it.

Invisibles 326

Invisibles #326 is up over at filmwise, and I've got 7 of 8. Curiously, I submitted what I was sure was the correct answer for #6 over and over again with various changes in the spelling but never could get it. I asked a friend and he came to the same answer and got it right. So I tried today, and it works. No idea what was going on. The one I'm missing now is the black and white movie, pictured.

Last Week: I missed Gigi, Fame, Lucky Number Slevin (should've known this one), and On the Town.

New Invisibles

Filmwise has Invisibles #325 up, and after a decent performance last week, I'm back to mediocrity with four of eight. Some of the movies this week look like the kind I'd never see (the three sailors, in particular, seem like an old movie musical type film that I'd never watch).

Last week's answers: I missed Babel (which I haven't seen) and Gangs of New York (which I'm kicking myself over).

Invisibles 324

Filmwise has Invisibles #324 up. Finally, an ok showing for me, with 6 of 8 right on my first try. #3 (pictured) and #7 are giving me fits, though. Both look very familiar. And it's especially annoying when I get close to getting all 8.

Last week's answers: I was stumped by For Your Eyes Only, 13 Going On 30, Flyboys, and Father of the Bride.

New Invisibles

Filmwise has Invisibles #323 up. A second straight poor showing by me, as I'm only able to figure out 4 of them. Two look like I might have at least seen the movie, another vaguely familliar, but the black and white wedding could be just about anything.

Last week's answers: Stumped by Fatal Attraction, The Devil Wears Prada, First Blood, and Being There.

And sticking with the trivia type theme, 7pm ET tonight is the last shot for online auditions to VH1's World Series of Pop Culture. Of course, I should be trying to thin the competition... so... it's not at 7. The website is lying. Show up at 8. Yeah, that's the ticket.

New Invisibles

Filmwise has Invisibles #322 up, and boy do they all look familiar. I've only got 4 out of 8 so far, but I'm going to keep racking my brains until I get at least one more. The first two are especially bothersome, since I'm sure I know the movies and I feel like I'm close to placing them both. I'm 99% sure I've seen #6, too, but it doesn't feel like one that I'll be able to get. I never would've had a shot at #8, except that the movie's title (or at least most of it) is actually written on one of the nametag-like things.

Last week's answers: Cheaper by the Dozen and Rabbit-Proof Fence stumped me.

For the uninitiated, Filmwise (the home of many entertaining movie puzzles) photoshops the actors out of a scene, then leaves it up to you to guess what movie they're from. Eight new invisibles are posted every week, as well as the previous week's answers.
